Terms of Use

Using Forsyth County Busted Mugshots means accepting these Terms of Use. If the terms are not acceptable, do not use the pages or linked tools. This is a private reference service, not a government office or official records custodian.

Forsyth County Busted Mugshots has no government affiliation and is not a private investigation firm or a consumer reporting agency. Neither this service nor its advertising partners offers reports for credit, employment, insurance, tenant screening, or another FCRA-covered use.

What the Service Is

This is a private reference site that points toward inmate, booking, court, wanted, and jail-record resources in Forsyth County and North Carolina. It stores no official roster or court file, cannot confirm custody, cannot release anyone, and cannot file a document with FCSO, WSPD, KPD, NCDAC, or the Clerk.

Official offices control the records they maintain. A page may connect visitors with third-party search tools, but a result must be verified with the originating office.

Acceptable Use

Use the pages lawfully and respectfully. You agree not to:

  • Break a law or interfere with another person’s rights.
  • Stalk, threaten, harass, impersonate, or encourage harm.
  • Use information for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, licensing, or other prohibited eligibility decisions.
  • Attempt unauthorized access, probe security, or bypass access controls.
  • Run bots, scrapers, or bulk collection against the pages or linked tools.
  • Disrupt the service or impair another visitor’s access.

FCRA Restriction

This service is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not provide background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports, and neither it nor an ad partner provides screening services. You agree not to use page content for hiring or firing, tenant or housing decisions, creditworthiness, insurance premiums, licensing, permits, government-program eligibility, or any other FCRA-regulated purpose.

Links and Partner Tools

Links may lead to FCSO, LEDC, WSPD, KPD, courts, NCDAC, federal locators, news outlets, legal resources, and outside search services. Their content, privacy practices, pricing, availability, and security are controlled by their operators. A link is not an endorsement or guarantee.

No Warranties

The pages and links are supplied “as is” and “as available.” No promise is made about accuracy, completeness, current custody, uptime, freedom from errors or security defects, or the thoroughness of partner results. Public records and custody status change. Nothing here is an official statement from a sheriff, police department, jail, court, or corrections agency.

Liability Limits

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operator is not liable for losses, damages, claims, or costs arising from access to or use of the pages, linked tools, or information, including reliance on a stale or incomplete record.

Indemnification

You agree to protect and hold the operator and its partners harmless from claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the service, violation of these terms, or unlawful conduct.

Ownership of Materials

Text, graphics, logos, layout, and code belong to Forsyth County Busted Mugshots or its content partners. Do not copy, distribute, sell, modify, or republish them without written permission, except where law allows.

Changes to These Terms

Terms may be revised at any time. A new version takes effect when posted. Continued use after a revision means the updated terms apply.

Access May End

Access may be limited, suspended, or blocked at any time and without notice for any reason, including security, abuse, or violation of these terms.

North Carolina Law

These terms are governed by North Carolina law. Any dispute must be filed in a court located in North Carolina unless applicable law requires another forum.

Severability and Questions

If a court finds one term invalid, the remaining terms remain in effect. The invalid part will be adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable. Questions may be sent through the Contact Us page; records questions belong with the official custodian.
